Pilgrims Europe is very excited to bring to the market a opportunity for a young person or young couple to start a pig farming business. We are presently converting a old broiler site to hold pigs 1800 rearing then finishing them on site.
The farm will be rented out with a house included at a reduced rate to allow someone young to enter the pig sector. Closing date 7th May 2025.

This week, we have offered and been accepted on the new tenants to take on the site. The competition was tough but one business shone through to both ourselves at Pilgrims Europe and HSBC. We are pleased to say the applicants are a new young start up business in the industry.

It’s great to have the two young ladies on the site. Over the weekend they rolled into action cutting all the grass, felling overgrown trees and bushes. Ready for when they take on the site.

It’s been quite a long journey. Probably another two to three weeks to go.
