Food Craft

75-Year-Old Brine.

Our heritage in Pork stretches back over 120 years. Our site in Coalville is the longest established Ham cooking facility, with a history of 90years.

The factory has grown from its artisanal roots, but continues to use the same live brine first created by Andrew Simmonds’ grandfather when the factory opened in the 1930s, now one of the oldest brines in the UK.

Geo Adams Heritage.

Our Ruskington factory was acquired in 1969 by George Adams, a well-established family-run firm of butchers in Spalding.

His factory manufactured sausages, fried products and pies. Since it became part of the wider group in 2007 the site has continued to focus on best in class quality fried sausages and other meat snacks.

Best Of British Bacon.

Cornwall has a strong heritage of making its own bacon using only the best local recipes, when Roach Foods began producing bacon and gammon in 1960, they continued this long tradition.

60 years later and many of the cures and techniques used today are those that were developed by the Roach family.

Butchery Expertise.

We supply quality pork to UK retail, foodservice and wholesale customers, as well as the export market.

Our heritage in butchery is one of the things that sets us apart, coupled with experience that spans several generations.
