It acquired incorporated status in 2001 and continues to work towards its original goals. It possesses an extensive understanding of the use and performance of all engineering materials and provides expertise in the choice and economy of structural solutions.

T
he directors are, and will remain, intimately involved in the management of projects, often as working engineers, and maintain close contact with the client throughout the life of a project. All members of staff are encouraged to contribute to design & management practices in an open and positive manner.

Value Engineering
All solutions are rigorously examined with all members of the design team to ensure 'best value' In addition regular reviews are carried out 'in house' on all aspects of the engineering design to ensure the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained.

Management
The office is arranged in an open, interactive manner and all staff are actively encouraged to be educated, trained and qualified to the maximum of their potential. Quality control procedures are implemented throughout the company in accordance with The Institution of Structural Engineering Guide to Good Management Practice.

IT Systems

Up to date modern computer facilities are employed and networked within the office with full access to the Internet and it's resources. The company has been involved with computers and CAD since its formation and currently produces all drawings using AutoCAD as the basic platform. All documents and reports are produced using Microsoft Word 2000 in addition to Excel and Access as appropriate. Design and analysis is catered for by specialist programs such as QSE produced by Research Engineers Ltd and TEDDS produced by CSC (UK) Ltd. as well as other bespoke design aids many of which were produced in house. It is recognized however that good design is as much a matter of engineering judgment and experience as it is for calculation & analysis and all designs are tested against these parameters.
